UPDATE: An Uneditable Message for Mark Kennedy

Mark Kennedy's U.S. Senate campaign website, under fire for deleting negative comments from news stories before posting them, will now link users to the full text of articles.
It's nice to be heard. Here is the link to my story, Mark: link.

[Heidi] Frederickson, who runs the site and chose the excerpts, said the flap over the articles was politically motivated. "The whole issue is just a diversionary tactic to avoid talking about the real issues of the campaign, the things that Congressman Kennedy has successfully accomplished in the House," she said.
Ah, yes. She must have gone to the same Associated Press meeting that I went to, where the AP decided its primary objective should not be providing news stories, but instead getting Mark Kennedy out of office. It was a good meeting. There was punch and pie. And a clown. Next week they will be discussing the best way to create a diversion to avoid talking about the real issues of the campaign for mayor of Butte, Montana.

O, spokespersons for politicians, why must your mouths foam with inanity?

Yes, his news-related balloon animals always bring down the house.

By the way... for anyone curious I was at the meeting because I saw AP and thought it was Armchair Politician. Needless to say, I'll be getting "confused" again next week. Maybe they'll get "confused" and put me on their payroll.
