- If America up and got rid of its military, would that mean it'd also have to get rid of the commander in chief?
- If America up and got rid of the president, would that mean it'd also have to keep the executive branch alive by replacing the top position with something more reasonable, like a nice slice of pumpkin pie, with some whipped cream?

Pecan pie is good, no doubt. But I do reckon "a nice slice of pumpkin pie, with some whipped cream" does sound more reasonable. But calling it "pun'kin pie" might help win over those of us hicks who grew up in red states.
