Goats contract previously unheard of strain of avain flu

The avian flu virus hit North Africa in a most unexpected form recently. In a developing story that is still baffling the world's top scientists, a herd of goats have contracted an apparently rare strain of the avian flu that actually makes the goats take on the characteristics of other birds. In the accompanying photograph, these goats are seen taking flight to a nearby tree, where they perch, and possibly, peck. The goats do not seem to have grown any feathers, claws, or beaks, but certainly their sudden propensity for taking flight is a disturbing development, and possibly an intriguing one. The world now waits with bated breath to see whether this new avian flu virus, tentatively dubbed,"crazy flying-like-a-bird flu," will find its way to humans.
