UPDATE: New Planet Leaves Mnemonic in Ruins
A friendly blogspot user has pointed out that two new planets have been discovered, not just one. Presenting 2003 EL61:

The real news here is the state of our planet mnemonic... that is, still in ruins. 2003 EL61 joins 2003 UB313 in the recent and growing list of new planets with mnemonic-ruining potential. At the current gait, I predict that the number of known planets in our solar system will have doubled by the end of the week, leaving our planet mnemonic... still in ruins. But Atlantis-esque ruins. Buckle up.
